A group bundles people with a set of pages. Every member inherits the group's page access automatically — on top of any access granted to them individually in the Access Matrix. Add a millwork hire to the "Millwork" group and they instantly get every page that group can open.
Access Mirror — clone access onto a test account
Copies a source user's page grants and group memberships onto a test account, so you can see what they see without signing in as them. Division scope rides along with the grants (it is derived from them, not stored separately). Never copied: username, password, email, role/admin status, identity, notifications, contacts, personal settings or any user data. The target's existing access is wiped first, and every mirror is reversible.
Test accounts
A mirror will only target an account marked here. Admin accounts can never be marked.

Encoding Sweep
Scans the known tables for the Unicode replacement character () — what a non-UTF-8 import leaves behind. The lost character is not always é. In the millwork tables it is usually an inch mark (110″), and it can equally be a quote, an apostrophe, a dash or a degree sign. Every hit gets its own replacement below — guessed from the surrounding text, and changeable before anything is written. Run after any CSV import, or whenever a shows up in the UI.

GC Name Normalization
Reads every GC spelling actually stored in job data (jobs, the three *_production and *_completed_jobs tables, jsr_snapshots, bid_log.gc, bid_log.awarded_gc, est_estimate, nc_tickets) plus the gc_companies directory, and groups the spellings that are the same company — differing only by case, & vs and, punctuation, or invisible characters such as a non-breaking space. You pick the canonical spelling; applying repoints every reference in one transaction and retires the variant's directory row (deactivated with a merged → note, never deleted).
